Set over 3 floors and marrying Italian architecture with modern aesthetics and local materials, Ischia Torre dell'Aquila has been sculpted out of the volcanic stone of the island. Offering up sea views from every room, expansive terraces, and indoor/outdoor living on several levels, this unique villa is a retreat like no other. Thoughtfully furnished with decorative antiques, work from local artists, the villa’s interior echoes the energetic character of Ischia.

Inside, the architects have maximized light and space, with a voluminous living spaces and panoramic windows and skylights modeled into the volcanic stone, allowing the sun to stream in. It is more than comfortable for families and groups of up to 10 guests. Nearly all of the villa’s rooms open up to terraces, that together, make up the amazing 360-view.

The living room on the ground floor features a magnificent fireplace, and is furnished with snug, oversized sofas and armchairs for maximum comfort. The rustic dining table seats 8, and can be set with the locally handmade dinnerware and Italian glassware. The fully-equipped kitchen is awash with natural light from its skylight windows during the day. Outside, the large dining table sits 12.

Three double bedrooms can be found on the lower level, all equipped with air conditioning and featuring a sea view. The main double bedroom has both a double bed and a double sofa bed (ideal for 2 kids), an ensuite bathroom with shower, and direct access to a terrace with sun beds. The second double bedroom also boasts direct access to the terrace and shares a bathroom with the third smaller bedroom with a French bed.

The sumptuous master suite is located on the top floor. Featuring a king-size bed, floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the San Francesco Bay, a lavish bathroom equipped with jacuzzi, and spacious wardrobes - this is the luxury at its finest. A mezzanine level reveals a studio space for relaxing in solitude.

All bedrooms and the kitchen are equipped with air conditioning for the hot Italian summers.

Outside, cool off by taking a dip in the sublime pool, where there are comfortable sun beds on hand to soak up the Italian sun. If you prefer swimming in the sea, there is a private access wooden walkway that leads to the sea below. And for those looking to escape the sun for some shade, the property offers up plenty of shaded areas.

The orchard is filled with fruits and vegetables that are for the guests to enjoy.

The road up to Ischia Torre dell'Aquila passes the homes of many celebrities, including the famous composer William Walton. The estate’s garden, Giardini della Mortella, a beautiful Mediterranean-style garden, was inspired by a lifetime’s love story.

Ischia is situated 30Km off the coast of Naples.

Arriving by plane in Naples, you can reach the hydrofoil port of Beverello in around 20 minutes drive by taxi or shuttle bus. The journey by hydrofoils takes around 50 minutes.
If you choose to travel by ferry, ferries leave from the port of Calata di Porta di Massa. The journey lasts 1 hour and 35 minutes.
