The ground floor includes the main dining room, main sitting room featuring an antique fireplace to keep guests cozy on cooler evenings, a TV room, and the kitchen. The kitchen is fully-equipped with professional-grade appliances for the gourmands in the group. On the first floor, the master apartment can be found, outfitted with its own kitchenette with fridge, a private living room, and two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The master bedroom’s ensuite bathroom is distinguished by its clawfoot bathtub, a separate shower, and a double sink. The other bedroom’s ensuite bathroom has a shower that is ideal for those with limited accessibility. Five more bedrooms are located on the first floor. Three of these rooms offer garden views, each with an ensuite bathroom. The other two bedrooms share their own private bathroom. The last three bedrooms are located on the second floor. Two of these bedrooms are suits, each with its own living room with sofa beds, which can be used for extra guests. Villa Fonteblanda’s gardens compose the 4 hectares of grounds that envelope the villa. There are several sitting areas, including the main terrace in front of the villa where up to 20 guests can dine alfresco in the shade of the secular pine, palm and wild olive trees. The ‘Winter Garden’ is an alfresco dining area that has been shielded from the wind, specifically designed so that guests can enjoy meals mid-season. Of the many sitting areas, the pergola in the ‘Rose Garden’ is a perfect location to take in the views and relax, while others may prefer to take in a drink in the lounge area near the pool. The vegetable garden produces fresh vegetables used by the villa’s chef. The TV room features a flat screen TV. The kitchen is outfitted with professional-grade equipment, for those in the group who like to cook. All beds are king-sized, with one bedroom having the flexibility to convert to single beds. All bedrooms and connecting rooms are equipped with air conditioning, heating, and interior and exterior blinds. Mosquito nets/screens are on all bedroom and bathroom windows, however due to the position of the villa and the daily breeze and regular treatments to the property, the number of mosquitos and insects are limited. For those with young children, there are 2 cots or cribs, 2 bed barriers, and 1 high chair available. Guests will enjoy the many areas throughout the property to dine alfresco and take in the imposing views. A cook and table service is available, during regular meal times, to prepare and serve, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Pool and Spa The pool is located approximately 100 meters from the villa, allowing for privacy from the villa and to those in the pool area. It is 18.8 meters long and 4 meters deep. Guests, whether they are sun worshippers or prefer to relax on one of the 20 the sun loungers under one of the 10 umbrellas, will be captivated by the sea views and majestic sunsets as seen from the infinity pool. Just near the pool, where the changing room is located, an exterior lounge area is available for guests to partake in beverages at the bar, alfresco dining, or to rest in the sitting area. For those looking to rent a boat, visit Talamone, a small old port overlooking Giglio and Montecristo islands. For those who are interested in wine tasting, tours can be arranged to Argiano or Tenuta Ammiraglia, or have a tasting arranged in the Villa by Mazzei. Within an hour's drive, guests can sightsee at Giardino dei Tarocchi, Montalcino, or Terme di Saturnia.
