Even better than we expected!
The booking process with Passepartout Homes Ltd was very good and always there for communication either by email or phone no hesitation about any problems.
The expectations and criteria was even better when we arrived at TORRE SCILANO. It was FUN,UNIQUE AND DIFFERENT. All around the area was fantastic and lots to see and do and different places to go .
The tower villa, we where lucky to be able to do , but I would say that to be fit and like quirky things and being different as there is a lot of loft ladders to climb and small areas but that's what makes it UNIQUE and to be apart of wilderness a bit and need a car . BUT IS FANTASTIC.
Guido is a very lovely person and is proud of CHIAVENNA and nothing is too much and you learn a lot from him and he seems very passionate about nature and going back to basics which we all need to do sometime in our lives . There is nothing not to love BRILLIANT.
Everything was positive, assistance , welcome and the stay Would go back but try a different accommodation as we don't like to do things twice, but that's us.
Would like to say to PAOLA YOUR GREAT WITH HOW YOU ASSIT US WITH EVERYTHING TO DO WITH THIS HOLIDAY WELL DONE.
we will look for holidays with you in the further and DEFINITELY RECOMMEND PASSEPARTOUT HOMES.

Best Wishes
Yvette and Billy

The location
Piuro is located in the Valchiavenna Valley.
The Valchiavenna is an alpine region located to the north of Lake Como in the northern Italian province of Sondrio (Lombardy)
Discover the natural charm of this very special region which offers a wide-range of opportunities for recreation and entertainment, incorporating within it an extraordinary cultural and artistic heritage, sports throughout the year, whilst at the same time enjoying typical local produce and traditional dishes.
Valchiavenna has lots to offer the whole year round with its cornucopia of seasonal colours and scents.
From Torre Sciliano you can easily organize day trips to the most picturesque villages dotted along Lake Como, as well as to the world famous Saint Moritz in Switzerland.
Other villages worth paying a visit: Madesimo, a well-known ski resort and the town of Chiavenna with its fine boutiques and historical buildings.
Eating out
Typical local gastronomy is readily available in the unique "crotto" areas, natural caves historically used for food preservation but where nowadays you can either dine al fresco at stone tables or indeed enjoy the traditional atmosphere within. In either case you can enjoy a plate of mixed cured meats, polenta with meats cooked on traditional hot stones, and local cheeses - all washed down with some splendid yet inexpensive wines.
