Perched on the trail up to the Prarion Mountain, the chalet enjoys fabulous views over the village of St. Gervais and the imposing Chaine D’Aravis mountains.

The house is off the beaten track and in the middle of glorious mountain scenery.

The façade of the chalet has been restored with antique Alpine timbers and stonework to preserve as much as possible its original look.

Inside, old world wood and furs, stoves and bathtubs have been given a quirky modern spin to create a romantic sanctuary.

The open-plan kitchen is equipped with Nespresso coffee machine, double Miele oven, gas hob, toaster and basic pantry items.

On the ground floor are also located a dining area with large wooden table and a living room equipped with a good selection of books, games and DVDs.

There is a sofa-bed in the living room for two additional guests, if needed.

The property is composed by two bedrooms, one located in the former hayloft with a free-standing copper bath, and a lime-washed master bedroom with en-suite bathroom on the ground floor.

The chalet has a bio-ethanol fireplace in the master bedroom suite, a revolving wood-burning stove in the living area and additional heating, including underfloor heating throughout the ground floor.

There’s also a wood-clad hot tub, perfect for romantic winter evenings.

The Chalet Guardian lives in a cabin next door and is at hand to assist you during your stay.

Facilities and Services

Chalet "guardians" are available to help with transportation, which should be arranged with the guardian and will incur an extra cost. Guardians are also available to prepare meals for guests, by arrangement at time of booking their stay. This will ensure that dietary requirements are taken into account and menus can be created.

Pool and Spa

Wood-fired hot tub. Guests are asked to give the Chalet Guardian 24 hours notice before using the hot tub so it can be set up and ready for use.

Good to Know

If guests do not have a 4x4, or a 4x4 with snow chains in the winter, please park vehicles in the car park below the Chalet. The distance from the car park to the chalet is 400m. The Chalet Guardian will pick you up at the car park with the chalet's vehicle. If you do have such a vehicle, please clear it with the owner. Your host can help you with luggage. There is no washing machine.



The chalet is located above the village of Saint Gervais-les-Bains, close to Chamonix and only 15 minutes’ drive from the A40 autoroute.

Approximately one hour drive from Geneva Airport.

During deep winter, snow chains are highly recommended for the journey from St Gervais to the car park below the chalet. The remaining 400m up and down the hill to reach the chalet must be carried out on foot or with the sledge. Your host can help you with luggage.
How to get there
Hidden away in the forests near Mont Blanc, Chalet F'Net is a secluded mountain retreat with all modern comforts. The chalet is an exclusive mountain chalet ideal for those with a spirit of adventure: beautifully designed spaces, delicious food and Alpine escapism.

The chalet is located above the village of St-Gervais-Les-Bains with easy access to the the Saint Gervais ski lifts and 24 Km from Chamonix.

The property is accessible on foot or in an off-road vehicle via a steep hill. Free private parking is available on site.

During the late Spring, Summer & Autumn the chalet can be accessed by guests who have a 4 x 4 vehicle.

During the snowy season, any vehicle with snow tyres/chains is normally able to get from St Gervais to the communal car park.

The local commune organises regular snow plough clearances of the tarmac road. From the car park there is a steep unmade track approximately 400m in length which must be carried out on foot.. During the ski season, the chalet concierge/caretaker will welcome you at the car park with a specialist, tracked snow machine to collect guests and their luggage.

The chalet itself is nestled in a hectare of woodland and has its own section of former ski piste, great for powder skiing home form the Les Houches slopes.

Saint Gervais-les-Bains is an elegant resort in the French Alps, evoking memories of Audrey Hepburn drinking kir royales in Charade or perhaps David Niven racing an open-top car in calfskin gloves round switchback turns.

With 445 km of pistes, Saint Gervais is the third largest ski resort in France.

Les Plancerts Ski Lift, part of Les Houches Ski Area, is 350 m from the property.

St. Gervais Ski Lift is 1.6 km from Chalet F'Net, while Le Bettex - St. Gervais Ski Lift is 3.9 km away.

You can walk up the hill to the Plancerts drag lift, discover Les Houches and ski back to the chalet (snow permitting). A short drive down to town gives you access to the beautiful and glamorous St. Gervais/Megève ski area.

The Mont Blanc Unlimited (MBU) pass gives you access to the ski areas f Les Houches, St.Gervais, Chamonix, Courmayeur and Verbier.

Refundable security deposit: €150.

There is a charge for each pet of £30, for extra cleaning involved.

Guests will be charged for any missing keys at the end of their stay.

There is no compensation for any temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, internet connection, or television service.
The chalet can be rented on a self-catering or half-board basis.

Lets shorter than 7 nights available upon request.

Check-in is usually at 4pm on Fridays, unless otherwise agreed. Check-out is by 10:30am.

The max occupancy is 4+1.

Special requests are asked to be made at the time of booking.

The owners are not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings or valuables of the guest.


A non-refundable deposit is required in order to secure a booking. The balance, together with any security deposit, will be requested 60 days prior to your check-in.
