Details View property details Located within the hills and woods of the Murgia region, the vast property is enveloped by an oak forest and Mediterranean scrub, in addition to the gardens and pastures for the animals. It offers views of the Ionian Sea and Pollino Mountains in Calabria. Accommodating between 8 to 10 guests, the 4 bedrooms overlook a large living room, dining room, and another small living room. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is the heart of the home, and is equipped with all that is needed. Being 400 metres above sea level, the home benefits from not needing to be outfitted with heating or air conditioning. Temperatures are quite cool in the hot months, with a pleasant evening refreshing breeze. Not far from the house is a vegetable garden. Families with children of all ages are welcome at Masseria Tagliente. Bedrooms Configuration Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with shower. Good to Know The property is a working farm, with horses, goats, sheep and dairy cows raised there, yet not adjacent to the house. Near Masseria Tagliente, there a number of trulli that date back to the 18th century and have continued to be used as a shelter for animals. There is plenty of quaint villages in the Itria Valley for guests to explore including Martina Franca, Alberobello, Ostuni, Cisternino, Locorotondo, and Grottaglie, to name just the most popular ones. For those who prefer the sea, Masseria Tagliente is 30km from the Adriatic Sea and 30km from the Ionian Sea.
