Details View property details The Villa Vorno estate is comprised of 3 separate buildings, the main Villa, the Casa del Contadino (guest house) and Forno (banqueting hall). The history of the Villa is celebrated through the Tessieri tiles, Murano chandeliers, and antique furniture, and has been flawlessly blended with the modern conveniences, including a lift reaching all levels. Guests will find adequate areas for relaxation throughout the Villa, including lounges on each floor or in the library. However, within the spa guests can pamper themselves in the heated swimming pool with hydromassage jets, a sauna, a hammam, a spa treatment room, and relaxation lounge. For those who like to entertain, the cooks in the group will savor the fully-equipped, country-style kitchen; while hosts will find the formal dining room an impeccable room for an exquisite dinner party; and sommeliers will appreciate the wine cellar in the basement. The dining room of the villa can accommodate up to a maximum of 12 people. Each of the 6 bedrooms feature ensuite bathrooms, and either have king- or queen-sized beds. Any of these beds can, upon request, be converted to twin beds, for those groups who require a special sleeping arrangement. For those with larger groups, the Casa del Contadino can accommodate up to six more guests, with its 3 double bedrooms, a living room, and kitchenette. The Guest House 'Casa del Contadino' is comfortable, but not of the same style as the main villa and is best suited for those traveling with staff or for teens looking for a little independence. The gardens are themed, including a ‘Wedding Garden’ which is outfitted with a lovely gazebo where couples can exchange their vows. From the organic vegetable garden, the villa chef will gather in-season produce; from the olive trees, extra-virgin olive oil is produce; fruits and lemons from the lemon grove are gathered to create preserves, candied and dried fruits, and, of course, limoncello. The banquet hall is available for larger events. Bedrooms Configuration Bedrooms on the first floor of the villa includes 3 bedrooms. The Pink Room and Yellow Room include king-size beds and feature ensuite bathrooms with baths and showers. The Blue Room is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an ensuite bathroom with a shower. Bedrooms on the second floor include 3 more rooms. Both, the Orange Room and Green Room have queen-sized beds and ensuite bathrooms with showers. The Turquoise Room has a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom with shower. All beds on both floors can be converted to twin beds upon request. There is also a range of produce grown on site including organic vegetables used by the villa's chef, rows of olive trees used to produce extra-virgin olive oil,a kiwi pergola with fruits harvested for jam and candied fruits, and a lemon grove where the fruits are turned into delicious juices, dried fruits and – naturally – limoncello. Included in the rates, is use of the sauna and hammam, for up to 2 hours per day. For extended periods, there is an extra fee, charged by the hour. Enquire about spa and beauty services, available for an additional fee. Wine from the villa's wine cellar and the courtesy bar is available to guests for an additional charge. Laundry services, baby sitting, and additional staffing is available to all guests, for additional charges. The concierge team can arrange local activities and excursions into the Tuscan countryside, for additional fees. Pool and Spa The outdoor swimming pool, located within the gorgeous gardens, is open from May through October and is an ideal space for sun worshippers in the group. The indoor heated pool (open October to April), is equipped with hydromassage jets, and can be found in the basement of the villa where the spa is located. The spa is equipped with a sauna (2 hours a day), hammam (2 hours a day), a heated pool with hydromassage, a lounge area with a television, and an area specifically designed for wellness. Special Touches Upon arrival guests are greeted with a welcome aperitif and Tuscan welcome basket. Delivered in the villa daily, guests are welcomed each morning with an Italian-style complimentary breakfast.
