Casa Fontegenga is composed of two floors and covers an area of 240 square meters and offers panoramic, 360-degree views of the surrounding Marche countryside. To ensure, privacy and peace, the entire property is fenced and located at the end of a small farmer’s road.

The ground floor features a large master bedroom with a king-sized bed, a separate toilet, and an ensuite bathroom, equipped with a spacious Italian shower and double sink.

The living area has an open fireplace, satellite TV, DVD player, and a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. The fully-equipped, open kitchen has all the modern amenities, including an American fridge (with ice dispenser and filtered fresh water), induction cooking, oven, microwave, Nespresso machine with capsules, a traditional Moka, and dishwasher.

The dining room table can entertain up to 12 guests.

The laundry room outfitted with a washing machine and dryer. There is also a guest toilet on the ground floor.

Upstairs on the first floor, there are 3 different bedrooms.
The upstairs master bedroom has a king size bed and ensuite bathroom with a large Italian shower, sink and separate toilet.
There is a bedroom with two single beds and another bedroom with 3 single beds. The upstairs bath is outfitted with a large bathtub, spacious Italian shower, double sink and a separate toilet.

The thick, stone exterior walls and triple glazed aluminium windows keep the villa warm during the cooler season. When the cooler weather hits, Casa Fontegenga has adjustable underfloor heating to keep guests warm. All 4 bedrooms are equipped with A/C.
Mosquito nets are in every bedroom, the living room and the dining room.

Outside, the extensive covered terrace features an alfresco dining table that can entertain up to 12 guests and a lounge area. A gas barbecue features teppanyaki/plancha and a pizza stone. An additional stone barbecue with charcoal entices guests to spend time outside and to dine alfresco.

Get lost among the many trees in the garden, which includes 3 old olive trees and many fruit trees, including cherry and walnut - all are available for guests.

Good to Know

It is recommended to not drive a sports car to Casa Fontegenga, as the end of the road to the villa is made of white gravel and the road is bumpy.

How to get there

Located in hills with a panoramic views, the villa is located in Northern Marche, in the province of Pesaro and Urbino, 3 km from the small medieval village of Mombaroccio and less than 25 km from the Adriatic Sea.

Within 30 minutes by car you can reach the historic and art cities of Urbino, Fano and Pesaro.

Gourmands will enjoy the many, Michelin Star restaurants throughout the region that offer traditional cuisine. Enquire about truffle hunting and visiting the local vineyards.

Le Marche is rich with festivals and markets during the year. In August, don’t miss the Rossini Opera Festival and the historic Palio in Cagli. In autumn, truffle markets in Acqualagna and Pergola are a must-visit.

Art and culture is abundant in Le Marche. There are a number of touristic, historic areas offering ancient gems to be seen.

And for nature lovers, explore the Frasassi caves, Furlo canyon, San Bartolo National Park, the Monti Sibillini and the white beaches of Monte Conero, by hiking, cycling, mountain biking, or horseback riding.

If visiting in the winter, skiers must check out the slopes in Monte Catria or Monti Sibillini.

Refundable security deposit: €1500 required.

Min 7 nights stay, Saturday to Saturday. Shorter stays of 4 nights possible only in low season.


A non-refundable deposit is required in order to secure a booking. The balance, together with any security deposit, will be requested 60 days prior to your check-in.
