The Two Barns

Villa The Two Barns, following meticulous restoration work, now comprises a central building and two barns ("Il Rosmarino" and "Il Leccio"), all surrounded by lush, colorful vegetation, filled with fragrances and sounds that create a unique connection with nature. The rustling leaves blend with the sound of the Pesa River, forming a soothing, refreshing lullaby.

On the ground floor of the Villa, a spacious living room leads to a grand dining room featuring a fireplace and a bread oven. This area is made even more extraordinary by the presence of a perfectly preserved kitchen dating back to the 4th century A.D., mirroring the one found in the Monumental Kitchen of Badia a Passignano. In the fully-equipped kitchen you will find all amenities to cook perfect meals. Adjacent is a modern kitchen, restored and equipped with all modern conveniences, a bathroom with laundry facilities, and the "Antique Room" suite, which boasts a large, luxurious private bathroom with a travertine shower.

On the first floor, a bright living room takes center stage, featuring a central truss and a fireplace that enhance the ambiance. From here, you can access the “I Cipressi” and “Il Susino” suites, each with private bathrooms and travertine showers. The “I Cipressi” suite also boasts a freestanding bathtub with a panoramic view of the Villa’s garden.

The “Le Macine” suite, located on the garden floor with direct access to an exclusive patio, is carved out of the ancient mill’s manger, historically used as a horse rest stop and for grain storage, remnants of which are still visible in the suite’s private bathroom. This suite is uniquely situated near the mill room, where the original millstones remain intact.

The property includes two annexes: the larger “Rosemary Suite” is situated on the left side of the main building and spans two levels. The ground floor features a double bedroom with a bathroom and access to a front patio and a lateral loggia used as a dining area. The upper floor contains a loft with two single beds overlooking the villa’s pool (gallery room).

“Il Leccio,” formerly an ancient sawmill and the smaller annex, is located opposite the main villa, directly overlooking the park through a paved patio. This dependence includes a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen with a historical marble sink, and a double bedroom with an open shower.
